Dover-Sherborn High School was ranked the #1 best public high school in Massachusetts by Boston Magazine. Sherborn is also proud of its commitment to preserving green places. Open space comprises more than 50 percent of the town’s area. Minimum lot sizes are between one to three acres, depending on the area. Sherborn also contributes to the Community Preservation Act, which helps preserve open space, historic sites, and recreational facilities.

Scenic country roads, a quaint historic town center, as well as working orchards and farms are a long-held part of the town’s character. Home to the Peace Abbey, extensive trails overlooking the Charles River, as well as a large portion of the Audubon Society’s Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary, Sherborn is often described as an oasis away from urban sprawl.

Residents enjoy the historic Sherborn Inn for upscale dining and jazz, the Sherborn Out for wine and prepared food. Residents primarily shop and dine in nearby Framingham, Natick, and Wellesley. Sherborn offers easy access to the Mass Turnpike (Rt 90) as well as Routes 9, 16, and 27. The closest train stops are a few minutes away in West Natick, Natick, and Framingham.

Children in Sherborn can also join in a host of sports and arts programs, including tennis lessons, soccer camp, lacrosse, basketball, hockey, arts & crafts, swimming lessons, and more. In addition, Sherborn’s Farm Pond is a popular place for residents to swim, sail, and just cool off in the spring and summer.
